Unique MultiStream™ Capability

File output options are greatly expanded to fit a wider range of applications with flexible

MultiStream™ technology, enabling users to generate multiple images simultaneously, in a

variety of combinations, all from a single scan, i.e., color, black and white, grayscale, binary,

R/G/B color dropout and even different resolutions. Now applications with multiple processing and

archiving requirements can be scanned in one pass, with virtually no reduction in throughput

speed. For instance, a form with legal retention requirements can be scanned and output in two

“streams”; one with the full color image for archive and one black-and-white with color-dropout for

data processing.

Note: When the MultiStream™ feature is used, the automatic batch separation functions of the

DR-7580/9080C cannot be used.
