HDR-FX7 3CMOS 1080i HDV Camcorder

Shoot like a pro with the HDR-FX7. Capture and playback amazing video and still

images in both 1080i HDV and standard definition on standard miniDV tapes.

Recorded HDV video can be conveniently edited with a choice of available

HDV, non-linear editing software. Its HDMI interface offers simple, one-cord

connection to compatible display devices. ClearVID 3CMOS sensor combin

with Sony’s Enhanced Imaging Processor results in higher video resolution, greater

light sensitivity with minimal picture noise, and more accurate color reproduction

3CMOS 1080p HDV Camcorder

Ideal for amateur videographer shooting weddings or the aspiring cinematographer,

the HDR-FX1000 offers advanced cinematic features, including 24P scanning and

advanced color settings. It captures full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution using three

Sony’s ClearVid

™

1/3” CMOS sensor chips which provide high sensitivity, deep

resolution, high-speed reading, low noise and a wider dynamic range. It also

allows the camcorderto perform significantly better in low-light environments

with sensitivity of 1.5 lux.

• The HDR-FX7 has a smooth slow record function. With its three

sensors, it can capture a six-second burst of video and play it

back in 24 seconds as slow motion video.

• Has a high-resolution, 3.5” SwivelScreen LCD screen with Clear

Photo Plus LCD for superb contrast and accurate color reproduc-

tion. Also sports a high-resolution viewfinder to accurately check

composition, focus and image color.

• Has a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens with a 20x optical zoom

plus a 1.5x digital extender realizing a 30x optical zoom without

significant degradation of picture quality.

• Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization reduces shaky

footage, even when shooting handheld at high zoom s

ettings.

• Provides extensive manual controls for zoom, focus, shutter

speed, white balance, iris, and gain. Independent manual zoom

and focus rings provide a high degree of manual control.

• Picture Profile allows the user to set manual adjustments for a

scene (color, sharpness, white balance, etc) into any one of six

presets, so they can be called up at just the touch of a button.

• Dual record funct

ion allows 1.2-megapixel still images and video

recorded simultaneously, with the press of a button.

• For more control while focusing the camera for greater detail and

clarity, the LCD can temporarily be magnified up to 4x its original

size without any loss of distortion.

• Settings for focus, zoom, iris, gain, shutter, and white balance

can be set to the Assignable Buttons which will create a smooth

tra

nsition and will take place according to the set time and

transition. This function enables the focus to gradually shift from

the front of the screen to a deeper part of the screen. Thus the

iris enables a smooth change of depth of field.

• By increasing the record rate from 60 fields per second (fps) to

240 fps for 6 seconds allowing you to capture fast motion and

manual rings for adjustments to zoom, focus and iris provides

be knocked even down to reduce noise even further.

• Histogram gives users a visual/numerical reference for making

sure the camera is properly color corrected.
