external mic input. For convenience, they feature Quick Start
function, Easy Menu, Joystick control and built-in lens cover.
• Record to DVD-R/-RW discs for up to 60 minutes in LP mode, or
to DVD-R DL (dual layer) discs that can store
up to 108 minutes
of video.
The DC410 has a 680,000-pixel CCD, the DC420 has a 1.07-
megapixel CCD sensor that includes a filter for color correction.
• Built-in, high-quality image stabilizer instantly corrects
camcorder shake, allowing you to shoot professional-looking,
rock-steady video
• 2.7” widescreen viewfinder lets you see exactly what you’re
recording at all times.
The DC410 is equipped with Canon 41x Advanced Zoom, the
DC420 a 48x zoom (default mode). On either, you can select a
37x optical or 2000x digital zoom. They also offer three fixed-
zoom speeds to ensure smooth, steady zooms automatically.
6 digital effects/2 fades (Camera Mode) add professional-looking
touches to your videos.

• DIGIC DV II Image Processor allows continuous shooting of up to
five 1024 x 768 still images per second.
• Quick Charge feature gives the supplied BP-808 lithium-ion

When in Camera Mode and the LCD panel is closed, the
