 Click the icon of the printer installed in Step 1, then from the

File menu select Properties.

Perform the port settings.

 Select the Advanced sheet.

 Click the Add Port button. The Add Port dialog box opens.

 Click the Other button.

 Below “Click the type of port you want to add”, click “Canon

LPR Port”, then click the OK button.

 In the Add LPR Port dialog box, enter the Host Name or the IP

Address into the Host Name or IP Address text box.

 In the Printer Name text box, enter lp and click the OK button.
